I have an adult male NR. About 2.5 years old. He came to me at about 8 weeks for rehab. Dehydrated, with a facial abrasion. After many weeks of care and evaluation he was released. 5 days later he came back in rough shape, abrasions missing fur & a respiratory infection. After another round of rehab he simply would not leave. He also exhibited he couldn't open nuts. If he worked on one for hours he would succeed but it was very slooooow! So...long story short he is now a family member. About 2 months ago he lost an upper incisor. It was a clean loss, no infection developed and it didn't interfere with eating. And ..it grew back. I have been monitoring his teeth and now have noticed a thickening in the tooth. He continues to eat normally, gums are healthy, and no signs of distress. The tooth is just thick. Does anyone have any experience with this?

That is a great picture of that one tooth... it is so difficult to get tooth pics!

I don't see a problem BUT can you get more pics of all the front teeth? Have you had to do any tooth trimmings?

I haven't had to trim! I'll see if I can get more photos tomorrow. Thank you!
