Hiya,
I read through some posts and I saw that we can use Cipro as we dont have any exotic vets and no one would see him.

So I went to the pharmacist pretended to have a UTI and got us some Cipro.

Munckin is very unwell. He is about 3-4 weeks old we found him in our engine last thursday. The mom would not come back for him we tried for two days.

We think he got the pneumonia from using a dropper to feed him and I was using the liquid form of of Esbical...
He has been having a really really hard time breathing and he was gasping earlier but seems a bit better now.
We have used the dropper to get the blood out of his nose , and we picked up powder form of Esbical.
Hes on unflavored Pedialyte.

He weighs 13 grams
I have Cipro at 500mg.

Please help me dose this for him.

Also Esbical the powder, 1TBSP OF POWER to 3 TBSP of water ?
Can i keep using pedialyte instead of water?

Will be awaiting your guys reply, Thanks!

This cannot be right. The weight of 13 grams is about what they weigh when born. Please re-weigh and post the correct weight for dosing assistance.

Mix the Esbilac (is it Esbilac? Never hear of Esbical) 1 part powder to 2 parts water.

And NO, never ever ever ever ever use Pedialyte instead of water to mix formula. NEVER EVER! Hydration is the opposite of nutrition (feeding). Hydration, if needed, should be given in between formula feedings.

Do not give Pedialyte for longer than a 24 hour period.

A 30gram 3-4 week old is still very small, especially with grey's tending to be larger in more northern latitudes.

Is this a red squirrel maybe?
