I think this is a Box Elder or Ash tree branch with leaves and elderberry things. Are these safe ?

Jon’s tree identification app is saying this is an Ash but Google says no

I don’t know what this is!
But there’s lots of low branches heavy with these “things”, so just wanted to trim and offer if it’s safe but not gonna till sure :)

Those leaves don't look like my ash leaves, but the seed thingies look like my ash seeds, except up here they won't appear until late summer. My squirrels do eat them.

I guess that's not much help though if we don't know if they're ash. :thinking


EDIT: Any chance of observing to see what your local squirrels think of them?

It does look like an ash tree to me once I googled it. But would have to see it up close.

Love my barn,

Next to the woods it’s my second favorite place. Especially spending time in my special chair (5 gallon bucket) with an orange cat.
