Both babies have their eyes open. Thanks to muffinsquirrel who gave me a syringe with a nipple, they are eating much better. They are growing so fast it's unreal!!!
Now that their eyes are open, when do I introduce solid foods and how do I get them to take an interest in them? What size cage do they need at this age? Can they see now that their eyes are open? Anything else I should know about week 5? Thanks for everything!!! :smoken
Here are some pics I took last week. I hope I attached them correctly.

They are very cute. I have a litter and their eyes opened last week. I waited a few days for their sight to become sharp, and just started putting Cherios in their basket this week. They love them.

They are so cute! As for solid food you can try introducing little peices of softer solid food such as apples, peacans, whole grain bread, leafy greens. At this point they don't have much for upper teeth but should have their lower teeth. Keep giving the esbilac though.

I love the sock picture of them. It was just too cute. I was a little worried the socks weren't good for them but muffinsquirrel said it should be okay. Muffinsquirrel also gave them a fleece hat. They don't like it as much as they like their socks though. I took the socks away yesterday to wash and they got in the hat but only after looking everywhere for their socks!

What an adorable picture in the socks!!! :Love_Icon :Love_Icon Too cute!! (also "two cute!" -- :D couldn't resist)
Whatever foods you give them to nibble on, just make sure the pieces are big enough chunks that they can just nibble and can't choke on them. To start, they will more "shred" than eat, but they'll get the hang of it soon. :)

They are very cute! My little guys just opened their eyes yesterday. I am going to start them on baby food tomorrow (I feed it through the syringe so they don't make a mess, you just have to be really careful they don't aspirate it) and will put some regular food in with them as well.
