My squirrel is around 3 weeks 2 days (55 grams). I switched her from Esbilac liquid/goat milk yogurt mix to Esbilac powder (slow switch and whipping cream slowly added once stabilized), and she is getting bloated and not pooping sufficiently. I get a very small piece if anything at all after a feeding. I thought it was possibly the whipping cream, so I omitted it, and still no poop. I also started daily powder Bene-bac probiotics yesterday. She is definitely not dehydrated by the amount of urine output. Gas drops make all the poop come out, but I feel like I shouldn't have to use gas drops once a day to produce a bowel movement. I'm also worried that daily use of gas drops is not good. I'd rather find the root cause of the problem. I massage her belly, but I am unsure if there is a correct method to doing it. Is there a formula used for squirrels with intolerance to the regularly used formulas? Her eyes have not opened yet, so waiting to start the Fox Valley 20/50. I'm worried she might have the same problem once switched to that formula too.
