Avacado? I was just going through my fridge and there's one in there. I know birds can't have them.

From what I have read it is one of the first few foods recommended to start feeding your squirrel - along with apples & skinned grapes.

6 to 7 weeks:
Offer Zupreem primate chow, fruit, and a couple of small slices of avocado...

My wilds adore avocado. Just no skin or seed :)

Got it... no skin, no seed. Yayyyy a new food. I'm having fun with the food <LOL>. It's like having my daughter all over again. She loved avacado as a baby too!!!

So far Scooby loves the apples. She thought a lot of the grapes until I introduced the apples. I'll try avacado tomorrow. She can put a hurtin on a piece of rodent block too!

Next question... water. I have a VERY shallow dish of water in her enclosure. She stuck her nose in there and got really mad!! At what point do you all introduce a water bottle?
