I have an adult grey Squirrel a little over a pound. I’ve purchased infant ibuprofen 50ml per 1.25 mL to help with the pain of her injury. Can anyone help me with the amount needed to give her? We think she was attacked by another animal.
Thank you!

I sent you dosing by PM. If you do not have a 1cc syringe to measure this with, let me know and I will go determine how many drops the dose will be.

If she was bitten by a cat she will need antibiotics ASAP. What do you have available to you or from friends, family, etc? Human antibiotics can be used. Cats carry pasturella bacteria in their saliva and it can be a killer if not treated. We will need the name of anything you can find, the size of the pill in milligrams, and you will need the aforementioned 1cc syringe to dilute and dose.

A 1ml and a 1cc syringe are the same.

Can I give her Baytrol 10% as an antibiotic?

I meant to say Baytril 10%.

That is great. Looking for someone to help you dilute this - I think it is an avian prep of Baytril. You will need a 1cc (1ml) syringe to dose.
