Hello,
I have Baytril being sent to me in the mail. In the meantime, is there someone who can convert dosage for Macrobid 100 mg to a 2 lb squirrel?

Personally, I have no knowledge of Macrobid /Nitrofurantoin usage on a squirrel. It's not listed w/ WMB.
For me, it would be irresponsible to dose a med for a squirrel without prior knowledge of that medication.
A med that's designed for a purpose one is looking for does not necessary mean it's ok for a squirrel's use.
Just as plain Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, it's not the right ab for a squirrel due to it's harsh effects on a
squirrel's system.

Please give probiotics with this, otherwise the good gut flora can be significantly impaired and so digestion of nutrients and the immune system of which over 70 percent resides in the gut flora colony. For this very reason, when a friend's vet prescribed Baytril, they said to load on the probiotic which the vitality of is supported by a prebiotic that it feeds off of.
Soil based organisms are like that squirrels obtain in the wild, yetve without the nasty unwanted, parasites found in soils. Recommend giving above the maintenance level; 1/16 Tsp. out of a capsule of Pet Flora by Vitality Science.
