Hey guys,
Someone found 3 baby squirrels and contacted me about them. I just picked them up tonight. Two of them have these little bumps on them and I was wondering if it's Pox, or something else, and what I should do? (As some of you know, I have my pet squirrel Rocket who lives in his cage in my house and also another rescued adult squirrel.)

Appears to be pyoderma, a type of staph infection often found on the underbelly skin on baby squirrels.
It can be cured quickly treated with diluted clorhexadine or an antibacterial soap in warm water applied
2 x a day

You can use the betadyne you got for Rocket for this, at the same dilution.

Thanks a lot Step and CM😎 I will start treating them. I didn't post one of the pictures that I took, but I will now just to be sure. One of their toes seems swollen. That isn't pox is it?

Here is another angle of the swollen toe on one of the babies. Let me know what you guys think. Just want to make sure this isn't something that could spread to the other squirrels.
