So when I got mazi and monkey they were both very under weight at 4 weeks old they were 36 and 45 grams so I am wondering is it normal they are still on the small side? They are about 11 weeks maybe 12 I lost count lol either way they still have not tipped over 300 yet she is 294 he is 288 now these guys are all over the place super energetic they eat their veggies and now three blocks a day each... They play like crazy drink great no bathroom issues oh and we are in Florida I know ours are smaller than other places so is this just lanky teen age????

I understand there is that size difference with southern squirrels so one can't really go by a greys
"average" age to weight scale. Sometimes with underweight babies they can be slow to take off but
I think your babies look really good and well proportioned from what I can see.

Thank you for your response... So I need to just not focus on the number so much.... Other than the actual weight number I have no worries that was just kind of worrying me a bit... They are happy healthy little balls of energy!!!

I’m actually surprised that you’re still able to weigh them at this age. :grin2
They look perfect. Stop worrying mom.

I bribed them with a cheerio! :laugh2 it's the only junk food they get. one cheerio and I make them eat it on the scale!!! About every 3 days when they see the scale come out they fight over who gets on it first! I wanted something super tasty to them (my bride food) and that seemed like the healthiest none squirrel food I could think of!
