Alternate for whey/vita-mins in homemade blocks?

Is there any reason why one couldn't substitute FV 20/50 for the whey protein and Vita-mins in homemade block recipe, especially for juvenile squirrels? I'm trying to decide whether to buy one last bag of formula when she's old enough to wean, and if she weans, whether I could use the rest to make blocks without investing in more ingredients...?

I have seen recipes made with FV instead of the other ingredients so I wouldn't think it would be a problem. I also have an extra bag that I ordered that they ate off of two days so I was going to do this.
