Please take a look at the attached pic. Is that a cataract? a glaucoma? something else?
What can and should be done? (Vet care isn't available at this point).

It could be any one of those things. I have seen folks post about cloudy eyes from injuries and also from poor diet. With an injury sometimes the eye heals and cloudiness goes away, sometimes not. With diet, once it’s improved the cloudiness goes away.

Is this an old squirrel? What’s the diet like?

Is this an old squirrel? What’s the diet like?
The sq is about 8 yrs old or so.
The diet is the standard: HHBs, veggies/greens, fruit and nuts as treats.
No known injuries, at least not in the presence of the humans (unless he might have hurt himself when they weren't there, but it's very unlikely).

Given the age I would say cataract. Diet sounds good, so we know it's not nutrition-related. Not sure what, if anything, can be done for cataracts in an older squirrel.
