Ordered fv 2050 from Chris squirrels as Henry’s had no stock this weekend

I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how long it usually takes to arrive?

Also I’d love ratio suggestions for transitioning formula

Was thinking I’d start around 1/5 but prefer to know what’s best for easiest transition

Have 95 g that’s app 5 weeks

A typical transition is:

75% Esbilac with 25% Fox Valley for a couple feedings, then
50% Esbilac with 50% Fox Valley for a couple feedings, then
25% Esbilac with 75% Fox Valley for a couple feedings, then
100% Fox Valley

You would mix (hydrate) each formula per the label directions in separate containers and then add them together in the proportions above. This allows the stomach to adjust to a new formula and also allows them to adjust to the new taste.

An example would be mix:
6mL of Esbilac with 2mL of FV, then
4 mL of Esbilac with 4 mL of FV, then
2 mL of Esbilac with 6 mL of FV, then ……. 100% FV

Of course, this is just an example. You adjust this based on how much formula you need for your baby or babies.

Ok

Original thought was one day per transition phase… so it’s best to do a just w couple of feedings so he’s on the right thing faster?

Like 3 feedings? Or 2?

Thank you

I would complete the transition in maybe two days or so. Of course, you transition according to how the baby is adjusting. If the poop gets soft you slow down the transition. I think 2-3 feedings is fine.

On occasion, when a baby is on total garbage formula like scalded milk we just tell them to stop the garbage and switch immediately. In some cases it’s better to work out the digestive issues with the sudden switch than to continue the harmful formula. You have time with the Esbilac. No need for urgency.

For anyone else confronted with using Chris’s squirrels because Henry’s out of stock

it was ordered Sunday evening, shipped Monday, and arrived in SC Wednesday (out of CT via USPS priority for like $16 shipping)

Got stock that’s good until 2023 on the 2050 fv formula

They do also carry miracle nipples
