Please guys I need help. I know nothing about squirrels and had to rely on google for all the info.

There was a baby Indian palm squirrel I found about 3 days ago lying on road, all soaked in sewer water and cold. I dont know its age but it was very weak (still is), had its eyes already opened, had fur on tail and body. I guess its about 4-5 weeks old? There are lots of stray dogs outside so I took it home, cleaned it a little with a wet cloth, feed it some buffalo milk without sugar through a syringe attached with a rubber tip, drop by drop (I watched a squirrelsandsmore.com video on how to feed carefully). It somehow survived and after 2 days, i gave him milk with little sugar and it liked it and drank willingly. Earlier we had to force feed it to keep it alive. Evrything just started going good, but -

Yesterday morning we took it on the roof to search for its mother coz she usually comes there. It suddenly ran up the wall and fell from roof, from about 10 feet. Then ran and fell again about 8-9 feet on the ground floor😭😭. It landed on feet both times, but it was already very very weak. It probably hit hard its lower jaw on the ground.
It was normal for 1-2 hour but then started walking in circle and eyes closed. And curling its limbs frequently, rolling sideways, eating nothing. It is running violently after small intervals.
I have no vets in my small town, and its my first time taking care of any pets.

Please help me. I will provide further details if needed.

Fed, I’m sorry about what happened. The behavior you describe indicates neurological damage from a head injury. The fact that the baby appeared normal to begin with and then started declining might indicate bleeding in the brain. There isn’t a lot you can do but supportive care. Try to get hydration into the baby. Only time will determine if the baby can survive. If it does survive, it might recover fully or it might have permanent disabilities.

Thanks for replying.
It died yesterday in my hands. It was a painful experience for such a small baby. I gave it some milk and pedialyte too, but it didnt survive. If there was a vet here in my area, maybe it would. I buried him in our garden. RIP poor little soul.
Btw, I really appreciate the help which you guys are providing here in the forum. Keep up the good work.
