My three year old male squirrel has not been as active as he normally is.
He is peeing more frequently and the color has a pink tint to it. He seems to also have an 'eye booger' that keeps appearing.
I noticed a snot bubble in the morning coming from his nose. It almost seems like he has allergies, but the urine color is definitely concerning me.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! I have recently been giving him yogurt as a form of probiotic.

Thank you

Also, we live in Portland oregon.

First, just FYI, but you have a really good resource for squirrels on the other side of the river - Squirrel Refuge in Vancouver. They are also members here.

Ask friends and family if anyone has any leftover antibiotics - human meds - and see what you can get our hands on. If you can find some Cipro. that would be wonderful. Once you get a list of the meds you have available, come back and tell us what you found. In most cases you will only need one pill.

Someone here will be able to help you to properly dilute and dose this for your squirrel. We dose by weight so it is very precise. To help you, we will need the weight of your squirrel, preferably in grams. YOU will need a 1cc syringe (no needs) with clear markings on it that you can read.

Many meds used for humans work wonderfully on animals.

Thank you for the response.
I have been in contact with Michael at the squirrel refuge. I was just waiting to hear back from him. I texted him a few days ago.
I do have Cipro, and will probably start him on that.

I also picked up some children's Benadryl dye-free allergy because I notice his eyes watering when he lays down in his bedding.
I am wondering if anyone could help with dosing this?

Will need his weight to dose the benadryl. It may well be allergies - they are terrible all over this year.
