Help with. Brown tail ground squirrel

Any ideas on an approximate age on this guy? Weighs 23g

He's now 25g

Not familure at all with ground squirrels or in any area where I would be.
Squirrels around here wouldn't even have fur at 23 grams let alone be with eyes open.

We do have a forum in breed specific that mentions ground squirrels.

Just adorable. BTW, it is ROUND tail ground squirrel, not brown. :grin2

I can't find any specific info on when eyes open but other similar small species like these little guys all seem to be around 5 weeks. His are wide open so I am guessing at least 6 weeks, maybe a little more. My mom lives in Tucson and seeing these little guys is always a treat.
