I made blocks using the recipe I was sent from HHP and I did everything as listed and didnt forget the aluminum free baking powder but they came out flat ,
I tried one and they were also very bland ,
The littles actually threw them back at me .
What could I have done wrong to make them flat and not like blocks?
Also what can I add for a sweetener can I add some honey ?
Next time I think I will use coconut flour instead of whole wheat flour as well.

Is your baking powder old? It loses its potency over time.

Hi! Don't want to sound unsympathetic but "The littles actually threw them back at me" has me :rotfl at the mental video.
So good of you to attempt this though, and good luck on future efforts!

Just curious, how much wheat flour did you use?

The reason I asked is because some of the measurements are in grams and some in cups and mistakingly swapping them could result in too much flour being used which would result in flat blocks, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.
