Things squirrels like that racoons dont

I've found a squirrel feeder makes my bird feeders more viable as actual bird feeders again. The problem lies in racoons raiding the squirrel feeder at night. I know racoons are fairly omnivorous but is there anything squirrels like that racoons dont?

Not that I know of. You’d have a better chance of offering the raccoons food that the squirrels and birds don’t like....and offer it far away from the bird and squirrel feeders. Raccoons will eat practically anything, but something relatively inexpensive is plain old dry dog or puppy kibble.
