Use a 1cc or 3cc syringe and give her some homemade rehydration solution. Here’s the recipe: 1cup water, 3/4 Tablespoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt. Offer this to her drop by drop if you have to.

What might she have gotten in to that caused her to throw up? Squirrels rarely throw up. Was she roaming in the house unattended? Are there any new foods given? New branches?

Also, formula that is not stored in the freezer can go bad and make the squirrel ill.

She did get out of her cage when we were not home and it looks like she got into a few things she chewed up a bamboo plant would that make her sick?and she got into some roasted salted pistachios without the shell .She isn't throwing up anymore but still will not eat and she is just laying there with no energy.

Eating too many salted pistachios might upset her tummy.

I don't think the bamboo is a problem.

What is her normal diet? What does she eat daily? And how is her hydration now?

We also think she might of got a hold of a cigarette.I just read that nicotine is highly toxic .She will barely drink anything I'm giving her the rehydration Mixture by a dropper but she take one drop and then want to hide her face so she is still really deydrated..Her normal diet consists of rodent blocks and fruit and vegetables as well as we will give her a couple almonds a day.

Why type / brand of rodent blocks?

Mostly veggies and a little fruit (just want to be sure)?

Definitely continue to give her the hydration fluid, it sounds as though she needs....

Burrito her by wrapping her securely in a blanket.
Hold her and syringe the hydration formula, making sure she is upright as to not aspirate her, like feeding a baby squirrel.
Even if you have to give drop by drop she needs to be hydrated.
You can also try a little honey and water it sometimes helps stimulate their appetite.
Hope this helps.

An apple is 86 percent water. So if she will eat that it will help rehydrate her. Sweet potato and winter squash are 70+ percent water.
