Im asking for opinions of other experienced eastern gray squirrel rehabiltators....I have recently bottled fed two babies. Both are females but one is hind limb paralyzed and one is healthy. My question is about the right thing to do for both of these two.
Should I slow release my healthy girl or do you guys think it would benefit both to remain together. They are tight like glue and I worry about separating them. Obviously I won't release my disabled baby but I worry about both in terms of the long term😊. I have had another disabled squirrel that stole my whole heart so that isn't what I'm questioning. Just want both to live their best life.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
