Previously we took Chippy to a vet and they did help but they didnt know anything about squirrels. Thank goodness it wasnt a big problem. But Chippy will be 9 years old in a few months and she seems to be having problems with urination. I think there may be something going on. Shes also very lethargic and starting to go off food. Just picking at it a tiny bit. My question is if there is a vet in the Southwest Arkansas area who has a good knowledge of squirrels?? Please. I want to get her in before it's a major crisis.

I know my post suggests it might be a small problem but knowing how she behaves on a day to day basis, something is very wrong with my baby and I think it's worse than shes letting on. I'm afraid this could be life threatening, if not right now then maybe another day or two at most.

I'm also fairly certain shes dealing with an odontoma from the research I've done. Please, please, please someone answer.

I will send you a contact via pm in Arkansas. She may not be close to you, but maybe she can help with a vet.

The list of Arkansas rehabilitators is located at Agfc.com. Maybe someone on there can help, too.

Edit: pm sent with contact info.

Chippy has pneumonia 😭 we've been giving her the antibiotics and pain medication the vet gave us for her. Today will be the second day of medications. She also went off food before we took her to the vet so she was off food for 4 days. We've started syringe feeding this morning, just organic baby foods that are food pyramid approved and giving a little water in syringe form too, just to make sure shes getting some. Anyone have any tips to help? Shes also being kept in a smaller cage for now in our bathroom where we can keep it warm and have a humidifier running.
