My cat got him. Is it a suirrel? Please reply now! I don't know what to do! Don't want him to die!

Could you give a size reference? I think it might be a mouse but it still deserves to live.

Put the baby in a container with soft fleece or T-shirt. Put a heating pad on LOW under half of the container.

It's tiny, I can measure hm. There's a suirrel calling outside. I put him under that tree. I hope it's Mom. I will go do the squirrel call sounds now

A measurement would be good. If it’s as small as I think, you wouldn’t expect a baby squirrel to be gray. It would be pink.

The squirrel might be fussing about the cat.

Do the front paws have 4 toes or five?

Please help, it's after 4 and the wildlfe rehabber closes at 6 and it's an hour away. What should I do?

Not a squirrel, looks like a mouse, I'd take to rehabber. Super easy and fast to raise.

What to do with him then? Super easy to raise you say?

I haven’t raised a mouse but the basics would be the same.

Warm the baby.

Hydrate the baby.

Homemade Rehydration fluid:
1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon honey, molasses, syrup, or sugar
1 pinch salt

This would be enough for tonight. Tomorrow you could find rehabber. I have heard they only take 3-4 weeks to rehab to release.
Again, I haven’t done it so others should sound in.

I don’t know what type of formula they take... ?

It sure is a cute baby! :)
