I have another thread going in life threatening help needed about Buster my buddy with the bad abscess. I think he's going to make it (fingers crossed) but he's gotten very thin. I need to weigh him tomorrow to know exactly how much he's lost but I can tell it's significant. He's eating some apple, spinach, romaine, carrot. So far that's what he seems to want. You can't gain much on salads! So, are there any high calorie foods/supplements to help him out? I have some shelled nuts in his cage but he's not too interested. Thanks all.

So glad Buster's doing better. You can see if he will take formula (sometimes sick squirrels will). If he will you can add whipping cream. There are also nutritional supplements you can buy on Chris' Squirrels. Some people feed Ensure (a milk-based fortified drink). Other things to try: avocado, yogurt, Cheerios, natural peanut butter, cheese.
Yes, if he will take formula you can also add some baby rice cereal and a little baby banana. I have sustained squirrels with broken jaws on that.
