HELP! Identify! Do I have baby squirrel or rat?

I found a squirrel on my doorstep. I tried to place it back outside in the tree in front of our house, 1 squirrel came by for a few seconds and looked at it from about a foot away then left. It became dark so I brought it inside for the night and have been feeding it puppy formula with syringe. Also keeping it warm with a heating pad on low. But now i am worried it might be a baby rat? Can you please help identify. Based on my reading it seems to be a 3 week old female (either squirrel or rat)

Just as their are squirrel forums, there are rat forums. Might be able to find someone to take it.

I dealt with white lab rats in college and mine, the one acclimated and ran through mazes (It was a memory study.) were quite mellow. I asked if I could keep one for a pet and was told that their brains would be studied.
