Hi everyone ! Is it normal my baby squirrel’s poop turned black after an antibiotic ?

I have seen it turn black after giving pepto bismol.
What antibiotic was the squirrel given?
And how did you calculate the dosage?
And how long have you had the baby?

It certainly is. Everything that goes into them will affect their poop. We had a squirrel on here some years ago that got into some artificially dyed parrot food once and I swear to you it produced rainbow poops.

I’ve been giving him baytril since 3 days, a good soul from here helped me with the dosage, he is about 6-7 weeks old and I’ve had him for a month.
