I was called to pick up some baby squirrels yesterday that fell from a tree and mom abandoned. They had been laying outside for about 4 days and were very thin. One died shortly after I got home. The other girl is so lethargic but taking the pedialyte and Henry’s formula. I’ve been alternating them every hour and gave her just formula every 2 hours during the night. She was 46g and is now 48g. She’s cool and I keep her on a heating pad but she goes off it at times too. I want to make sure I’m doing all I can. I feel this is over my head as my first rehabber was not this ill. I think she’s around 4 weeks. She has fur and her bottom teeth. Eyes are closed. Is there anything else I should be doing? Why does she keep going off the heating pad when she's so cool yet?

I think she may have aspiration pneumonia after searching the posts here. She is clicking when she breaths and maybe this is why she's so lethargic. I can't get my vet or wildlife place to help and give me antibiotics. How can I get some?

Sometimes they will crawl off the heat because their organs are starting to fail... try to keep her warm, never give a cold (or cool) baby anything by mouth... no water, no formula, no pediatlyte... nothing unless they are warmed thoroughly.
Ask all your family and friends for antibiotics, you will need only one pill. Common meds given to people that are effective for AP include Cipro and Augmentin. I would start the search immediately as AP kills very quickly.
If you locate anything, post here what it is and someone will advise if it can be used to treat AP. We'll need the weight of the baby to help with dosing too.
There are online options to get Baytril, but if this is AP the baby will not survive waiting for the mail. Antibiotics are the only effective way to resolve AP.

Also, make sure the heating pad is not too hot. The heating pad should be under the container and set on "low".

I found someone with SMZ. Will that work? If so what is the dose? She is 50 grams currently.

I have SMZ oral 200mg/40mg/5 ml per ml. I have a 50 gram baby. What dose do I give for aspiration pneumonia?

This is SMZ / TMP 200mg/40mg per 5 ml? AKA Bactrim?
The above is what I sent dosing for in a PM since I am not aware of a product with this concentration per 1ml. If what you have is not SMZ-TMP 200MG/TMP 40MG per 5ML please clarify and updated dosing.
