Nest in danger: Rehabber needed Atlanta GA

Just saw a post on my local nextdoor.com with someone asking to have a ‘Critter Removal’ company to get rid of a squirrel nest with babies and a parent. Not sure of all the details but would like to find someone who can save them. I texted the person to please let them leave the nest naturally but not sure if that will happen. This is in Atlanta near Perimeter Mall.

Thanks everyone for messaging me so quickly!! Have sent some contact info to the person with the nest and hopefully can work out a good solution.
I’ll post an update as soon as I find out more.

Sadly, it looks like the homeowner called ‘Critter Catchers’ to set traps. They told her that they would release them on corps of engineers land. Total load of BS and a death sentence regardless.

“Because of the commotion yesterday, mommy squirrel made four trips back and forth across the screen and we did not see her come back. She may have moved her babies. Daddy squirrel was here too. They have different tails. STAY TUNED! I will update when Critter Catcher puts his camera up there...

UPDATE. Empty nest! Everyone safe and unhurt. Empty nest is removed and Critter Catcher is closing off entrance right now. Thank you everyone. This company was great, by the way. And mommy squirrel did her job well.”
