I am looking for advise on preventative treatment with Nemex 2. I am not sure of often I should treat my wild squirrels in order to prevent them from getting the parasite.

I sent you the page out of the Wild Mammal Baby book. To rid and prevent roundworm in raccoons the medication is given every 10-14 days. The medication does not kill the eggs, which must mature to be vulnerable. This is why it is dosed at this frequency and continued on a regular basis, in case they come in contact with the eggs within the soil in the future.

Thank you Mel1959. I did read the article that you sent, but I was not sure if it was okay to dose every two weeks year round. I just don't want to do any harm to my little furry bunch.
