What are these?

Hi guys! Im back! It has been awhile and alot has changed. Our Newt did pass away last April (2019). So we haven't had any squirrels and i needed to be away from everything squirrel related.

We have these little guys that we found in our wood chipper. We will take them to where they need to go. But honestly i cant tell if squirrel or rat. Weight on them is just over 5 grams. So im starting to think, not squirrel.

I have them on dry rice because i cant find my heat pad.

Ok. I knew i wasnt crazy. We have put them outside under the shed to see if mama will come get them. Theyre incredibly adorable. But i am not equipped for this little.
