How long per day does mom grey squirrel forage for food?

There is a wild mom grey squirrel who comes to my backyard each day for nuts, lots of nuts.
How long does she forage for food per day before she goes back to feed her babies?
Seems like she is out quite a bit sometimes.
I think she is a mom because she has dark nipples(i think) on her belly.

Trying to also put up a nestbox but i dont really have big trees.
Nestbox should be here soon.
Hopefully mom squirrel and/or her kids can move in.

She may still be pregnant. A nursing mom usually has a circle of matted hair around each nipple.

Try to get your new nest box as high up as possible.

Looks like she's nursing. Hard to tell.

Once babies are a few weeks old, mom can and will stay away from the nest quite a while. Especially in warmer weather. The babies can maintain their own body heat.
