eye infection

One of my regulars has shown up with an extremely swollen eye. The eye has always been clouded, and I believe he is blind in it. He won't allow me to touch him, but I can dose him with a nut. Is there anything that I can give him to help? It has to be so painful and I desperately want to help him in any way that I can.

I'll try to get a picture tomorrow and for reference he is an adult eastern gray who is on the smaller side.
