Is this a squirrel??

I was contacted to take these rescued babies a week ago, and told they were squirrels... but I’m not 100% sure. The little girl died last night, and I don’t want to continue treating them as squirrels if they’re a mouse or rat or some other animal. Help! What adorable creature am I bottle feeding?

OK the only thing I can tell you for sure is........this is not a squirrel.
My guess would be mice or rats. :dono
Cute little one though, regardless.
