Hey all...hope you're safe! I know antlers are widely acceptable for our guys to gnaw on for tooth health. But as my guy does this....he eats the small particles of antler as it falls off. Is this safe, and also is it safe for him to gnaw on found deer rib bone as well...for tooth cutting? Thanks!!

Yes, it’s safe for them to consume antlers as they chew on them. And yes, they can chew on deer bones. These are sources of calcium for them. I place dried beef marrow bones (the kind that have a hole in the middle where the marrow is) on small broken tree limbs for my wild squirrels. I routinely see them shaving off the edges of the bone and eating it. It’s good for their teeth and provides an easy source of calcium.
