Help finding antibiotics in Central Illinois

I have a seven week old squirrel that is clicking. I have called everywhere I know to try and get him help but either they’re closed or can’t take him because they’re not taking new clients. No one will prescribe Baytril or other antibiotics. Can anyone in Central Illinois help me find something? This little squirrel has just recovered from near-death and I don’t want to lose him from this. Thanks

Best med for pneumonia outside baytril is the human form Cipro, generic name is ciprofloxacin.
It is used for human urinary tract infections which many woman use.
You need to call around to friends, family, anyone you can to see what kind of ab you can come up with!
You would only need 1 pill, let us know what you can find and we can tell you if it can be used how to breakdown and dose.

Some pet stores sell FishFlox and other antibiotics to treat fish aquariums. You might check there as well as Tractor Supply stores. They sell meds for livestock that might be usable. Let us know what you find if you go to those stores to look and someone can tell you if it will work.

It is exactly the same med as you get from your doctor. The fish industry is skirting a lot of rules with it. "Fish Flox" is ciprofloxacin.
