Hello, I have a squirrel baby weighing 75g that was found and hypothermic on Thursday. I have been caring for her since then. Rehydrated and have been feeding Fox Valley formula. She seems to have pneumonia. She has been clicking when she breathes. She still has an appetite, is urinating, and defacating healthily. I do however want to treat the clicking. I have Baytril 10% which is 100mg/ml concentration. It is an oral suspension and again, my squirrel weighs 75g. Let me know if anyone knows the proper dosage/dilution for this.

BMD, is this 10% Baytril an oral suspension or is it the injectable?

I am going to send dosing in a Private Message.

I like to know if it’s oral or injectable because the injectable MUST be diluted. In this case it must be diluted either way to get proper dosing.

Thank you! I got the private message with dosing info. It’s odd prior to administering the Baytril the clicking stopped. I’m not sure if I should go ahead and give her the Baytril. What are your thoughts? She is still eating well.
