I had recently come across an orphaned Squirrel that sibling squirrel was dead. The orphan squirrel I have had for 2 days now, had a scab on the pee hole and I had soaked in warm water scab came off. Well now squirrel hasn’t peed in 1 day just about now and I noticed bruising on lower abdomen, could this be a ruptured bladder? Or could it be something else? Baby squirrel is pooping light brown to dark yellowish compared to first day it was black poop. Please anyone help.... I’m scarred for him.

It is common for them to have bruises on the body after falling. Some bruises will develop after a day or so.
I doubt the bladder ruptured in 1 day. You must keep the penis open. Keep the scab off and lubricate the tip. Sometime this is caused by self suckling due to hunger. Watch him to make sure he isn’t doing this. Siblings will also suckle on each other but he is a singleton.

If the bladder is over full, you will see a distended abdomen. Is the belly swollen?

This is critical information. Which formula are you using? If you are using Esbilac I would stop immediately. Last fall it turned deadly. Babies died of Metabolic Bone Disease. Before they died, many developed a dark band across the abdomen that looked like a deep bruise. When this developed, they died.

On formula, yellow or tan poop is normal. The dark poop you saw at the beginning was poop from mama’s milk.

If you could post a picture of his tummy, that would be most helpful.
