I have 2 eastern gray babies, one female and one male. I’m guessing they are about 4 weeks old?? They have had their teeth for about a week or so now. I have order them some blocks and calcium powder. When should I start giving it to them? And how?

Did you buy the Henry's blocks?

If they EAT the blocks along with healthy veggies, you likely won't need the calcium at all. The blocks are designed to provide it and everything else they need.

If they are only 4 weeks old, they are on formula and getting the needed calcium. What formula are you feeding?

As soon as their eyes are open cut a block in half and put it in with them. They likely won’t eat it, but might chew on it and it allows them to get used to the idea of blocks for food. Change it out when it gets hard and unappealing. They eventually will figure out its food and eat it.

Which Henrys block did you get? It has been my experience that the hi protein blocks, which are recommended for babies, are not as well liked as the hazelnut and picky eater blocks. :shakehead:shakehead

I got the Healthy Blocks and they are still on formula. They are getting more active and curious. The little boy opened one of his eyes for just a second and hasn’t opened it again. They are getting white hair on their bellies and tales are getting fluffier.
