My Roxy is 4 1/2 years old fox. I rescued her at about 5 or 6 weeks old and rehabbed her, released her 7 months later. She's lived in my back yard ever since and believe she is now nursing litter #7. She has been a very healthy squirrel ever since. As I just saw her having some dinner (peeled apple, peeled blueberry, sunflower seeds and some walnut), she left behind feces that were not the usual small black balls. It was light brown, not diarrhea and more elongated versus round and clumped together. I'm a bit concerned. Can you diagnose the problem ? Can you suggest something I can supplement in her diet, so she'll leave behind normal feces ?313569

Thanks for watching after beautiful Roxy. She is a hefty girl huh? So nice she's been around so long.

Maybe she's just ate something a little off.

Do you give her any rodent blocks?

Keep checking back for more ideas.

She was never fond of rodent blocks, even Henry's blocks. She eats fruit, veges, greens and nuts. No Brazil nuts because I hear they have traces of toxins.

If you haven't seen our website yet please checkout out: www.moxy-roxy.com. I was inspired to create games & toys based on my experience with Roxy and other squirrels. Many folks from TSB have patronized us. Many thanks...........:hug

Hi You might try feeding her some vinella yogurt with live cultures, such a stonybrook ect; . This will help the good gut bacteria in her GI track.
