Hello,
I posted this question as part of another thread - thought it best to start a fresh topic. I'm caring for a baby with neurological issues. Experts here at TSB recommend prednisone, but the vet who saw this baby (regular vet - not wildlife) isn't comfortable giving prednisone as he is not a true expert on squirrels. I'm in a state where I need to be careful who sees him. Anyway, I've given this baby metacam for a while per the vet. I can't tell that it really helps, but it's all I have. My question -- Is there anything holistic I can try? This baby's head freezes and rotates quite often and he is not balanced. His walking is better than it was - so perhaps that's the metacam.
Thanks for any advice. He is the sweetest thing. I just adore this little guy and want to do what I can. I just have no access to prednisone.

Contrary to that thought, it is best to keep with your orignal thread for this very reason.
