I'm a licensed wildlife rehabilitator from Michigan and took in a litter of 6 fox squirrels. The fox squirrels are now approximately 10 weeks old and 5 are eating solids with no formula supplement. The 6th squirrel has no teeth and doesn't appear to be getting any. Squirrel was taken to my vet and there doesn't appear to be any formation of teeth. I've been rehabilitating squirrels for 20 years and have never run across this. Wondering if anyone has run across this.

I have not heard anything like this but will ask around about it. Did the vet have anything else to say about it. Any chance they took an X-ray? I imagine that you are talking about the incisors? Just out of curiosity, what formula was this litter fed?

Thanks.

The squirrel was fed Fox Valley, and the squirrel has no teeth at all. The vet did not take an xray, but that is the next step.
