Transition to FV concern

Hi everyone

Yesterday I started transitioning my two 4 week old babies from puppy formula to Fox Valley 20/50 and I am now giving fully Fox Valley for about the last 4 feeds. However I noticed since I started giving only Fox Valley, they started eating less with each feeding. They used to eat their 4 mls happily, but over the last few feeds they only had max 2-3 mls and fall right asleep and refuse more. Is this a common issue with transitioning? I am feeding every 3 hrs, is it too frequent? Having said that, their tummies look good and their toileting seems normal. I'm just being a worry-wart as I am worried something may be wrong.

We have always noticed that the Fox Valley formula seems to fill them up faster.
Back when we used Fox Valley 32/40 the formula allowed us to get an ~extra hour
sleep at night because the babies stayed full longer
I would go to feeding every 4 hours for now. When they get a couple of weeks
older and are eating block, then go to every 5.

How much do your little ones weigh?
We typically give them 5-7% of their body weight.

Just curious, what formula were you feeding?

Oh that is so good to hear!! I will move to 4 hrs :D And I was feeding Esbilac before.

Lily (better eater) is 90 g and Zoe is 85. My daughter named them :grin3 judging from other people's posts about weights around this age, they seem to be doing pretty good?

I see that your little ones are on a towel. It's better to give
them some flannel, fleece or even t shirt material. Towels
have loops and they can easily catch their nails in them.

I did already read that and I do have it in mind to replace with flannel, just haven't found a small piece yet.. They only have the towel to hide under for now :)

I put tons of blanket squares in their bins. They
love to burrow under and they always look so adorable.
I get blankets and cut them into pieces about 12" x 12".
I put ~ 6-8pieces in their bins. Just make sure there
are no strings on the blankets from cutting.
They love their blankets. :)
