I’ve got a baby flyer, just opened it’s eyes about 3 days ago, so I am assuming it’s going to be about 4.5-5 weeks old. I noticed durning the last feeding she acted like she had gotten too much formula. I heard a slight clicking so I used a small dropper to suction her nose and some milk did come out. She seems to be sort of weak now. I’ve read multiple posted and read that cipro can save the baby. I’ve got Cipro but I’m not too sure on the dosage I should use, a lot of the posts are about grey squirrels rather than flyers and there is quite a bit of size difference in the two. Thanks in advance!

BrynnaB, please repost this in the Emergency ( Life Threatening ) forum and hopefully an Administrator/Rehabber will be here to assist you soon.

Thank you! It wouldn’t let me earlier because I was a new member or maybe I was doing it incorrectly. Looks like it’s posted now!

In order to dose your baby we need her weight in grams and the size of the Cipro pill in milligrams. YOU will need a 1cc or .5cc syringe in order to dose it.
