I won’t be able to get any Fox Valley in until end of next week. I have squirrels that will only eat block ( Henry’s Wild Bites) if made into the Boo Balls as described in recipes here . My Esbilac is the “crafted in USA” version .

Are there any recipes anyone could share, that don’t require formula? Most of mine (especially Doodles the malocclusion) prefer baked squares ; I’ve tried the frozen, raw dough versions and these are usually wasted. Any advice greatly appreciated:)

Hey Marie,

I do not use formula in my boo balls. That way they do not go bad as fast. Does that help. I use Mazuri and a nut choice, both ground up. Then I make a wet concoction out of apple sauce, molasses, and smooth p-nut butter. Oh yeah, I just started adding oatmeal to the dry ingredients.

Ok! I have all of the above except Mazuri; have the Wild Bites from Henry’s Healthy Pets. I’ve tried everything; Oxbow, Harlen T, Mazuri :( These are the only brand they will barely eat in recipes. Won’t eat plainst all.

Can you tell me the approximate amounts of each thing you use, for a batch say for 6 grays and two flyers?
And can this be baked?

You can use any type of block. I think we sent you home with the recipe. You can feed baked, half baked, or no baked.
