View Full Version : Please tell me dosage for baytril.Its an emergency

I have injectible very high concentration of baytril.
I also have insulin syringes so it is possible to draw up a miniscule dose.Please tell me the dose for baytril.
If anyone can tell me the mg of baytril pill they use and how they dilute it/and what dosage,I can figure out the milligrams for my Fritzi.
Please somebody help me. I see so many posts about Baytril saving the squirrels life,I have baytril in my hand but I'm watching my little guy suffer.Please can anyone tell me the dose. My Fritzie opened his eyes about 4-5 days ago.Hes has a great appetite and usually drinks 2 CC's(ml) per feeding.I usually feed him with 1ml syringe,which is same as 1 cc syringe.
However he had been suctioning so hard on the syringe that I couldn't advance the formula forward in the syringe and always had to move it around.
So this morning I did a stupid thing,I fed him with a kitten nursing bottle with small he.sure enough he aspirated.Now,a couple of hours later and he's got full blown pneumonia symptoms.He is inbad shape.Please help me and Fritzie.Thank you.

I need strength of Baytril, I think it is 100 mg and wt of Fritz.

Redwuff,thank you so much,I sent a dm to you because I didn't know if I could find my thread again.I don't know how to use the message board.
It is baytril injectible 20gram/100mL
I think thats .2grams per mL,which I think is equal to 200mg per mL.
Also I have access to Ciprofloxacin tablet

Thank you so much! Fritzie recovered.Im not sure if you are Trish,I was in touch w her by phone but my phone broke.I still have same tell number but my contacts did not transfer over to my new phone. Whether you are Trish,or another person, I just am so appreciative for your replying and offering your help.Thank you.Little Fritz,turns out to be a Southern flying squirrel. Only 34 grams now at 2.5 months!
