Urgent Feeding Advice Needed

How does a Western Grey's diet vary compared to a Eastern Fox/Grey, specifically with formula fed babies? Is it the typical Fox Valley or do they need more fat and calories? Right now they are getting 1 part fox valley 20/50, 1 part cultured Greek yogurt, 1 part heavy cream, 2 parts water plus pumpkin because the girl in particular has issues with diarrhea. She is also a FTT. I just feel like somethings off with their diet and hoping to get some input with someone experienced with Westerns. Current weights are 190g and 280g.

Also, how do you get stubborn eaters to eat block? They wont even eat block at 11 weeks, it's milk or nothing.

Whitney, unfortunately we don’t have a lot of Western greys on The Squirrel Board. I doubt anyone knows the answer to your question. My guess is that the diet as far as formula would be similar to the Eastern greys but I have nothing to back that up with. You might want to send a Private Message to Duckman as he is in Vancouver, WA and has undoubtedly rehabbed Western greys. He is very busy with rehabs so he isn’t on TSB much. The heavy cream might be causing the diarrhea. Can you post a pic of your babies? We might be able to help with the diarrhea. A pic would help us to get a better idea of the FTT situation.

I do know him. I’m was hoping to get additional advice to see whats worked for others since the diarrhea had continued to be a problem. I’ve done benebac and pumpkin. I was concerned about the heavy cream causing diarrhea which is why we’ve paired it with cultured greek yogurt. The girl in particular seems to be a special case. Her GI system is very sensitive compared to her brother. I was hoping maybe once she started on block maybe she’d do a little better but neither want block.

Just curious if they are siblings, why the 90 g difference in size?
