Teeth issues

My squirrel porter has the same thing we have been dealing with this for over a year. He has been on doxycycline for over a year and furosimide for fluid that builds up around his heart. We had one of his top teeth pulled but it did not help. I just need answers also. Are vet is very confused on why his nose fills up with fluid and he mouth breaths. I just wish someone new what this is in squirrels.

Often mouth breathing is due to problems with the teeth.
