Anal bleeding

This is George. He was brought into a local anumal hospital today. George doesn’t feel good. He’ll take a little hydration and finder gave him some Esbilac. George is really skinny and most worrisom, has what looks like diluted blood coming from his rectum. He was found on the lid of a garbage can so he could have fallen or been dropped by a bird (no talon marks tho) If it was internal bleeding seems there would be bruising and the blood dark. This discharge is blood but diluted pinkish mixed with diarrhea. No smell. Could mom have got into rat poison? How can I best support his little system. I subqd once and his body sucked it up in minutes.

Is there any signs of fly strike? My first thought was if this was not internal injury maybe the poor thing has an internal maggot infestation... maybe a dose of Capstar. :dono

No fly strike. Just lost a maggot baby. Looked for that first.

Have you allowed little George anything for pain?
However he got on the trash can lid wasn't of his own device,
I suspect internal but we've also seen blood with diarrhea. :dono
