Squeaky noises

My little one, Chipper, is about 31 days old. About 2 days ago he started this chirping/whining noise and does it non-stop. He even does it when he sleeps. He almost sounds like a dog's squeaky toy. He eats good, poos good, and has a lot of energy. Has anyone ever raise a very "vocal" squirrel?? Thanks, Angela

If it's constant, something is wrong. Does it sound like a high-pitched chirp? If so, it's a distress call. He's cold or hungry or scared... If it's periodically, check all of the above and if everything is ok, he's just being extra vocal. :)

It's not high pitched. He very warm everytime I check on him, he's in a quiet place with his brother and 2 sisters, and he eats great. I just have never had one vocal all the time.
