Hi, there is someone with two probable orphaned greys that needs help in St Louis. Apparently there is more than one St Louis in the US. I am waiting for more specific info and a phone number from the finder. Here is the thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/squirrels/comments/cnimyv/found_a_baby_squirrel_in_my_house_probably_2/

The fact that both were found on the same day and that they look dehydrated tells me that these are probably orphans.

Update: I talked with the finder, and she has a fairly good head on her shoulders. She is in St Louis Missouri. Hoping a member is nearby and able to help. I have her phone number.

The stupid wildlife centre there refused to take them unless two days have passed for possible reunification, but the fact that two were found together and that they are looking dehydrated says that they are orphaned.

Update, one of them passed, sadly. She wasn't able to get the baby to take oral hydration. Sad :(

The other one is hanging on, though, and still needs help.

A long list of animal rehabbers in Missouri...
Some take squirrels, some don't.
I do know a specific one to suggest (sorry)

Sqwirl just to clarify...
Anybody can go go on line and access a list, that's a judgement call for the finder to make.
When I say I got nothing I'm speaking of recommended or known.

Just to clarify a little. I do know several if not many of the rehabbers that are part of the hotline that I posted. I don't know who is where or the capacity of each, but the director of the hotline does. This is why I posted the hotline as opposed to the list. Most of the squirrel specialists on the hotline were trained by someone that used to be a member here and has since had to retire from rehabbing due to her health.

Correction: I do NOT know of a specific one to to suggest (sorry)

Since we are unable at this time to recommend someone, and the keeper has already called one wildlife center and they refused to take it, I thought that the list I have of centers in your state might help you find a center close to you that will accept a squirrel. It would be preferable if I knew the best one to call based on your area.. but other rehabbers might be able to look at the list and make recommendations. Hopefully the hotline can make some recommendations.

With your associations I assumed that you did, otherwise you would not have posted the number.:great
I'm not that fortunate, when I say I "got nothing" I'm saying I have no known resource I could personally recommend.
I would assume that all States lists resources of some type, it's great when you find a decent one...
