I live in the Tampa area and desperately need a vet that removes teeth or cuts teeth on squirrels. Fall is 4 years old and she now has two sets of top teeth. One is growing behind her healthy teeth and she hasn't been able to file the second set down so they've just been growing. The second set are also clear and you can't see them unless you open her mouth with your fingers.

Not Tampa, but only a couple hours. Dr. Alicia Emerson here: https://ravenwoodvet.net/ specializes in squirrel teeth. We have members here who have taken their squirrels there - from Texas and California. At only 2 hours away, you would be nuts to try anyone else.

Ravenraskin, I totally agree with CritterMom regarding DrEmerson. She is the best when it comes to squirrel teeth. I would like to add this. If the second set of teeth are in urgent need of trimming until you can get to DrEmerson there is an excellent vet in Largo that routinely sees squirrels. She could trim the teeth, get the X-ray and diagnose the extent of the problem. She refers all the complex squirrel teeth/surgical cases to DrE.
Dr. Nicole Zellner in Largo can get you started. She is excellent. The reason I mention this is because I realize that life/work/family/logistics might delay travel across the state and if a tooth trim is needed immediately you can get that done locally to buy you some time until you can work out the details.

Thank you! That's perfect because I was trying to think about how I was going to get her all the way there when I only get two days off of work a week and want the teeth at least trimmed ASAP.
